Kleinschmidt Wins Maine ACEC Top Prize

Kleinschmidt Associates has been recognized by the Maine Chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) with its top prize for the second time in four years. Kleinschmidt won the ACEC Grand Conceptor Award for the Menominee Fish Lift System for Lake Sturgeon Passage at the Maine ACEC Fall Conference in Portland on November 4, 2015.

“This recognition underscores our company’s reputation for innovation excellence that we have provided our clients over the past 49 years and continue to provide to our clients every day,” commented Kleinschmidt President/CEO Charles Padera.

The ACEC Engineering Excellence Awards recognizes engineering projects that epitomize quality, innovation, value, and client satisfaction. The Maine ACEC chapter will submit Kleinschmidt’s project for consideration for the national ACEC award, which will be announced at the April 2016 ACEC Conference in Washington, DC.
