Adam Haskell, P.E.

Engineering Section Manager

Adam Haskell has managed and participated in numerous projects including the design of new hydroelectric structures, the rehabilitation of existing hydroelectric sites, and the inspection of penstocks and water retaining structures. He has performed engineering design for a variety of hydropower structures including powerhouses, intake structures, trash racks, gates, penstocks, debris barriers, and access bridges. He has also performed finite element modeling for the stability analysis of existing dams and the design of new structures.

Where did you go to college? What is your degree in?

I received both my B.S. and M.S. degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Maine.

Why did you select your current profession?

I saw the construction side of a project working in the family carpentry business and I wanted a better understanding of how the structures I was building were designed.
