MORE ABOUT ME:
I love coaching volleyball, rafting, camping, watching dramatic TV series, hanging out with my family and riding my bike around Portland.
If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Buenos Aires, Argentina. Fun fact: I’ve been to 14 countries.
What is your favorite sports team?
The Portland Trail Blazers, but a close second would be the Seattle Mariners.
Name the most famous person you have had a face-to-face encounter with ("brush with greatness")
Gregg Popovich, the coach for the San Antonio Spurs. I was wandering in downtown Portland for lunch one day as the Spurs were leaving the Nines Hotel. I saw Gregg, and knew his name (but not how famous he is!) and politely said, “Hey Pop, would you mind taking a picture with me?” He came over and the rest is history.
What is your favorite weird food combination?
White rice and ketchup.
