Kleinschmidt was selected as the design consultant to the general contractor, Prock Marine Company of Rockland, Maine under Coast Guard Contract DTCGGI-02-R-3WK189. The facility, which is designed to use a 35-ton travel lift initially, is capable of supporting a future 50-ton lift.

The piers are 60 feet and 90 feet long, respectively, and utilize steel piles and a concrete deck with a wood wave protection barrier.
