Invasive Species Management Plans

Invasive Species Management Plans

According to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife service, there are thousands of invasive species which include plants, animals and aquatic species.

Invasive species include exotic species that often grow in new ecosystems and outcompete native flora or fauna. In many cases these invasive species not only outcompete native species, but also provide significantly less forage or habitat value to wildlife.

Our team has developed numerous Invasive Species Control Plans which involve: planning and mapping of invasive species, investigation of acceptable control measures that could be used to control invasives, implementation of control measures, and long-term monitoring. We have developed these plans for wetlands and fish in conjunction with broader Habitat Improvement and Restoration Projects as well as Mitigation Projects.
