Erik joined Kleinschmidt as the Government Business Sector Leader. His role includes providing the overarching strategy and leadership for Kleinschmidt’s presence in the government market. Erik has worked with federal, state, and local clients such as the Department of Defense, Army, Navy, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Veterans Affairs, and Bureau of Land Management throughout his career.

He uses relationship building to create, maintain and grow trust with team members, customers, and stakeholders. These relationships drive performance, creativity, openness, and high-quality results. He uses these skills as a business development professional, team leader, and project manager.

Erik has a master’s degree in environmental policy and Management from the University of Denver and a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Utah State University. Outside of work he enjoys skiing and hiking.
