Glen DeWillie, P.E.

Business Sector Leader Water and Environment

“For me, it’s all about the people at Kleinschmidt – the chance to work with bright minds and willing hands…folks from many different walks who care so much about the work they do and have such a conscious desire to do their best each day in working as a team to deliver important projects to our clients.”

Glen began his time with Kleinschmidt in early 2017. He has more than 35 years of experience managing a diverse array of Department of Defense and federal civil works projects, water resource studies and designs, water and technology research and development projects, environmental remediation efforts, and facilities modernization initiatives. He has commanded a civil works district in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, served on International Water Boards of Control and a state water planning commission, and provided regulatory oversight and planning for all water management activities across the 28,000-square mile Susquehanna River basin.

In his current role, Glen specializes in the development and oversight of water resources, energy and environmental projects, and programs, serving as a firm principal. He is also engaged in business development leadership, risk management and quality assurance. Glen is a Board Member of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), Portland Post, co-chair of the Oregon State University Student chapter of SAME, and a community volunteer in Clark County Washington’s Stream Team.

Glen obtained a M.S. in Civil Environmental Engineering from Sanford University, and has a B.S from the United States Military Academy.
