Rossie Corwon

Rossie Corwon has over 30 years of experience in engineering project management, special projects management, and environmental engineering. She has 10 years of county government experience including having served as County Engineer for Greenwood County, South Carolina. This experience includes serving as Chief Dam Safety Engineer for the Buzzards Roost Dam and Hydro Station responsible for conducting a range of FERC compliance, water quality, and hydropower engineering projects. 

She currently serves as President of the Board of the Upper Savannah Land Trust, which holds protective easements on 50,000 acres in the Piedmont region of SC.  She has served on the board since 2014, and as President for the past 4 years. Additionally, she has been active in the Emerald Circle for the Girls Scouts in Greenwood County, was a charter member of the philanthropic Greenwood Women Cares organization, currently serving on the Grants Committee, and is a board member for the Humane Society of Greenwood.

Rossie has a BS degree in Agricultural Engineering from Clemson University, is licensed as a Professional Engineer in SC, and obtained a MBA from Texas A&M.
