Alison Jakupca has over 20 years of regulatory experience and provides comprehensive assistance to clients navigating hydropower licensing procedures under the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). Her expertise lies in strategic planning, facilitating meetings, and coordinating processes, all while drawing on her background in fisheries and wildlife biology to offer informed guidance within regulatory contexts. With a deep understanding of federal regulations, FERC practices, and legal precedents, Alison meticulously prepares licensing documents, including Preliminary Permits, Notices of Intent, Pre-Application Documents, Study Reports, License Applications, Exemption Applications, and promptly responds to FERC’s Additional Information Requests. Furthermore, she is skilled in the development of permit applications to ensure compliance with both state and federal requirements, encompassing 401 Water Quality Certifications, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permits, Stormwater Permits, Sediment and Erosion Control Plans, and navigating through U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ 404 and 408 processes.
