Charlotte Schnepel has 6 years of hydraulic engineering experience and specializes in hydrologic and 1D and 2D hydraulic modeling, water quality, and design. She has worked on large-scale watershed planning studies, models of closed conduit distribution networks, design of large retention and detention systems, and numerous smaller structure analysis and design projects. Her previous work has provided her with experience in programs such as InfoWater Pro, RiverWare, HEC-RAS 1D/2D, HEC-HMS, Bentley StormCAD, HY-8, CulvertMaster, Civil3D, and ArcGIS Pro.
She graduated with her Bachelor of Science from Virginia Tech in 2016 and earned her Master of Engineering degree from the University of New Mexico in 2020. In 2024, she completed the necessary steps to receive her Professional Engineer License (P.E.) in New Mexico. She joined Kleinschmidt in 2025 as an engineer with the Hydrology and Hydraulics section.
