Chris Goodwin has over 35 years of water resources-specific experience and specializes in planning, managing, designing, and inspecting water resources projects. His experience includes dam design, dam inspections, spillway hydraulics, dam hydrology, embankment design, dam permitting, and preparing emergency action plans and operations plans for dams. Projects have been split between state regulated dams and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) regulated dams. Chris also has experience in storm sewer system design and modeling, environmental permitting, wetland investigations and permitting, lake management planning, and groundwater remediation system design.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Wisconsin River Falls, and a Master’s in Environmental and Public Health, from the University of Wisconsin EAU Claire. He is an active member of the United States Society on Dams (USSD), the Association of State Dam Safety Officials (ASDSO), the National Hydropower Association (NHA), and the Midwest Hydro User Group (MHUG). Chris is also a Registered Professional Engineer in Wisconsin, Wyoming, and Maryland.
