David March, P.E., serves as a Civil Engineer at Kleinschmidt Associates, bringing in more than 5 years of civil engineering experience with a focus on municipal utility design and stormwater analysis. David uses AutoCAD Civil3D to transform designs from concepts to plan sets. He has previously served as a Civil Engineer at Burgess & Niple, where he took on complex civil engineering tasks from municipal clients that included a full drainage master plan, which identified over $100 million in future stormwater improvement projects. He also gained experience as a deputy project manager, helping provide project management support for various road rehabilitation and utility design projects. This role included construction management experience, managing budgets and schedules, writing specifications, and experience with QA/QC procedures. David earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas and Washington. David is excited to transfer his knowledge and experience to the hydropower industry, and he is eager to grow into this new role in the hydropower industry.
