Hannah Gorin has six years of hydropower-specific experience and specializes in GIS analysis and cartography. She is Kleinschmidt’s lead GIS analyst and is proficient in remote sensing data collection and processing terrestrial and aquatic studies, and GIS technologies. Hannah uses software packages including eCognition, ArcGIS Pro, ENVI, and LP 360, and has programming experience in R, Python, and SQL. She has worked with a range of species (flora and fauna) and in a variety of ecosystems ranging in the mid-Atlantic and New England. Hannah has significant experience collecting raw data in the field using various methods as well as data organization, analysis and interpretation, and report writing. Hannah has experience collecting and analyzing spatial data, piloting drones, and analyzing multispectral imagery.
Hannah earned her B.S in Environmental Biology at Millersville University and is currently pursuing a post-baccalaureate certificate in remote sensing at Penn State University. She plans to continue her education to earn her Master’s Degree in Geographic Information Systems.
