Harold Thompson has 55 years of hydropower-specific experience and specializes in thermo/fluid system design, piping design, and fluid system performance as well as hydropower facilities design. He has engineering design experience with architectural/engineering firms designing power generation facilities. He has experience with Northeast Utilities and Dominion Nuclear Connecticut. For these utilities, Harold performed engineering design, plant startup (Millstone Unit 3), and system engineering (Millstone Unit 2 and Unit 3). His technical and leadership experience includes supervisory and leadership positions during the performance of configuration management reviews, planned outages, and design modifications.
He holds a M.S. in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University.
