Jennifer Polardino

Jennifer specializes in cultural resources and tribal consultation for hydroelectric projects during her 12 years as a historian at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). As a historian, she developed Memorandum of Agreements, Programmatic Agreements, and reviewed cultural resources and historic properties management plans. She has also worked on non-capacity and capacity amendment and surrender proceedings. As part of these proceedings, she has worked on Environmental Assessments and Environmental Impact Statements in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act. She is also experienced in consultation with federally recognized Tribes, State Historic Preservation Offices, federal and state agencies, and other stakeholders. In addition, she has been responsible for determining which hydroelectric projects meet the criteria required for federal jurisdiction while at FERC. 

Jennifer holds a Master of Arts in History from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Kansas State University.
