Joetta Zablotney has 39 years of hydropower-specific experience and specializes in the geospatial sciences encompassing photogrammetry, surveying, computer science, and geographic information system (GIS) management and analysis. She has served as project manager and technical lead of geospatial projects with applications in environmental planning and management, water resources management, impact assessments, and relicensing of hydroelectric projects. Joetta has managed, developed, and maintained project databases using Esri ArcGIS suite of geoprocessing tools for tasks requiring coordinated data management; spatial data development and exploration; cloud-based interactive mapping; field data collection via drones and mobile devices; CAD/GPS integration; and formal metadata specifications.
Joetta obtained an M.B.A. in Technology Management and B.A. in Geography-GIS from the University of Washington. She also has an A.A.S. in Photogrammetry from Ferris State University.
