Karen Bishop has 12 years of environmental and scientific experience, including six years specializing in marine renewable energy science and regulatory work. Her work focuses on renewable energy projects, bringing expertise in FERC licensing and amendments, NEPA projects, state permitting, and Low Impact Hydropower Institute applications. She excels in managing multi-disciplinary teams, coordinating subject matter experts, consulting with stakeholders, and ensuring consistency across technical documents to support successful regulatory processes. As a fisheries biologist, Karen has contributed to various scientific studies, including fish assemblage assessments, water quality evaluations, fish passage analyses, and entrainment and impingement studies. Her understanding of aquatic ecosystems strengthens her ability to navigate complex regulatory projects involving water resources while ensuring environmental compliance and project success. 

Karen holds a B.S. in Fisheries Biology from the University of Vermont.
