Molly is a Project Engineer who specializes in integrating engineering and fisheries science to support the planning, design, evaluation, and optimization of hatchery and fish passage facilities. She brings 28 years of experience in engineering design and technical documentation, with expertise in translating production goals and program requirements into effective bioprograms, facility designs, and modernization strategies. Her experience includes infrastructure assessments, bioprogramming, conceptual design, construction planning and documentation, and cost estimation. Molly’s expertise spans project design management, technical document development, and leadership of large-scale multidisciplinary projects, and she has provided these services for utility, state, federal, and Tribal hatcheries throughout the United States. At Kleinschmidt, her work focuses on the planning, design, construction, and operation of fish culture and fish passage facilities.
Molly holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Central Washington University and a certificate in Designing Recirculating Aqualculture Systems (RAS) from Cornell University.
