Ralph Nelson has 44 years of hydro-power experience and specializes in fisheries engineering, from initial studies to final design through construction support. He is experienced in upstream and downstream fishway design, hydrologic analysis and hydraulics, dam failure analyses, dam safety analyses, energy analyses, production tax credit certifications, upgrade analyses, resource use assessments, site design, Erosion and Sediment Control Plans, Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure Plans, and state and federal permitting. 

Ralph holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University. He is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Maine Section. Ralph is also a Registered Professional Engineer in Maine.
