Rochelle Varney is responsible for establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, IRS regulations and CRA regulations.  She prepares the company’s monthly and annual financial statements and serves as the liaison between Kleinschmidt and external accounting firms where she coordinates all audits, reviews and tax preparation.  Rochelle’s duties also include filing financial reports monthly, quarterly and yearly to ensure compliance with U.S. federal, state, local and Canadian filing requirements for all of the Kleinschmidt affiliates.  Before coming to Kleinschmidt Associates, Rochelle’s experience included working in public accounting where she specialized in professional service and construction clients. She got her B.S. Accounting/Public Accounting from Husson College and is a Certified Public Accountant (1998 to Present). Rochelle is the Treasurer for the Kennebec Valley Boy Scout of America Troop #428.  She also serves as the Treasurer for Nolan’s H.E.R.O. Foundation, a local non-profit organization.
