Ryder Chapman has seven years of hydropower-specific experience and specializes in structural analysis and design of steel and concrete structures. He is certified with the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA). Ryder has designed various components of hydroelectric stations including concrete walls, slabs, thrust blocks, foundations, retaining walls, generator support walls, as well as new intake gates, spillway gates, spillway gate hoist and hoist frame stop logs, and stoplog slots. Ryder is experienced in developing decision support packages and Opinions of Probable Construction Costs and conducting cost-benefit analyses and risk assessments. 

Ryder graduated in 2019 with a B.Eng in Civil Engineering from York University in Toronto, Ontario.
