Trevor Lykens has over 20 years of hydropower-specific experience and specializes in project management of hydropower related design and construction service jobs. Trevor has experience managing civil, geotechnical, structural, mechanical, electrical design, and quality assurance staff and implementing quality control inspection programs. He has participated in many hydrologic and hydraulic studies, including dam breach analyses, PMF analyses, energy feasibility studies, and performance testing. He has also been involved in turbine and penstock inspections, numerous civil design projects, site surveying, GIS projects, Clean Water Act 316(b) support, and hydroelectric power plant relicensings. 

Trevor has previously served as the chair of Kleinschmidt’s safety committee, as a Team Leader for the Hydro Design group, and as a Section Manager for the Systems Engineering group.  He is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Project Management Institute and has served as the Vice-Chair of our Board of Directors.
