Portland, OR, September 22, 2026 – Kleinschmidt Associates, an engineering, regulatory and environmental consulting firm, is pleased to announce that Rowan Fay has earned the Certified Floodplain Manager credential through the Association of State Floodplain Managers.
Rowan began her career with Kleinschmidt as an intern before joining the firm full-time. Now in her third year with Kleinschmidt as a full-time member of the team, she continues to expand her technical expertise and take on new opportunities within Kleinschmidt’s growing Hydraulics & Hydrology practice.
She earned the certification after successfully passing the National Flood Insurance Program Certified Floodplain Manager exam. The nationally recognized credential demonstrates expertise in floodplain management principles, regulations and practices.
