Paul Williams, P.E.

Vice President

Paul specializes in valuation studies, due diligence reviews, project assessments, and has been qualified as an expert in multiple court proceedings. He is experienced in the planning, design, and operation of hydroelectric power plants and related mechanical systems. He has performed or witnessed the testing of more than 75 hydroelectric turbines and provides expert consultation for litigation involving design and operation of hydroelectric projects, as well as providing consultation for on-going operation and maintenance of hydro plants.

As a member of the valuation teams, Paul has supported various appraisers with the income and market approaches to value. Additional responsibilities include the direction and preparation of feasibility studies for hydropower redevelopment, analysis of alternative energy production technologies and technical review of special projects.

Paul graduated cum laude from the University of New Hampshire with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a minor in Business Administration. He is the past President for the Maine Association of Engineers and Past Board of Directors for the Hydro Foundation.
